YAMAHA - MOTIF XS8

Il MOTIF ha avuto come successore il MOTIF ES che ha raddoppiato l’enorme potenza del MOTIF stesso. Ora è tempo di raddoppiare il MOTIF ES – è il momento di MOTIF XS.

Le 128 voci del Tone Generator AWM2 disponibile nel XS si basano su 2.670 forme d’onda contenute all’interno della Wave ROM da 355 MB che può essere ampliata fino a 1 GB di campioni RAM, avendo a così a disposizione una quantità di campioni ancor maggiore. Ogni voce può essere costituta da un Massimo di otto elementi che possono essere attivati in modo dinamico utilizzando la modalità "Expanded Articulation" ("XA-Mode") per simulare gli stili sonori di strumenti acustici diversi in modo molto realistico. E’ possibile utilizzare la funzione Performance per utilizzare fino a quattro voci in Layer e Split. Grazie all’intelligente funzione di riconoscimento accordi, l’Arpeggiator 4 parti e le 6000 Phrases in dotazione offrono un accompagnamento perfetto. Premendo il tasto Record è possibile registrare direttamente dalla modalità Performance all’interno del sequencer – perfetto per fissare le proprie idee. La modalità Master divide la tastiera in otto zone e rende il MOTIF XS una perfetta tastiera Master.

Controlla l’XS in tempo reale con Ribbon Controller, Modulation e Pitch Bend wheel, 2 tasti, 8 knob e 8 fader. L’ampio display LC a colori (320 x 240 Pixel) consente la miglior visualizzazione. Tutto ciò funge da supporto alle funzioni di controllo remoto per garantire il controllo del software DAW dal proprio computer. Per la memorizzazione dei dati è disponibile una porta USB to Device e una porta Ethernet per l’integrazione del MOTIF XS all’interno di una rete LAN. Quattro output audio analogici e un output audio digitale S/PDIF producono il suono sorprendente che caratterizza il MOTIF XS. L’XS8 è dotato di una porta IEEE 1394 (opzionale sui modelli XS6 e XS7) per l’integrazione all’interno di ambienti di produzione musicale con computer.

Come tutti i MOTIF anche il MOTIF XS è disponibile in tre versioni che differiscono solamente nelle dimensioni e nel tipo di tastiera. Mentre i MOTIF XS6 e XS7 sono dotati di una tastiera FSX con 61 (XS6) e 76 (XS7) tasti rispettivamente, l’XS8 è dotato di tastiera 88 tasti con Balanced Hammer Effect.
